Carrom board (friction vs weight)

In this activity we will be using the carrom board to measure the effect of weight on friction. First the striker force need to be baselined with a single coin so that the same strike force can be maintained all through the activity. Next place the coin in the center and strike it, measure the distance travelled. Make sure coin does not reflect on the other side, so that measurements more accurate. Now do the same by increasing stacking up coins at the center. Note down the measurements for the base coin travel after each strike. Consider strikes only where the base coin alone travel and rest of the tower doesn’t collapse. The results are then tabulated and a graph for friction Vs weight is plotted.
