In this activity the learners will explore the different geometric shapes in the context of a design. They will have a competition to come up with designs, given certain shapes. An extension of this activity will be to put some restrictions on the number of shapes they can use in each round. Please do not focus on the end result as the learning is in the process.
Learning Objective(s)
To identify different shapes like Circle, Triangle, Square, Rectangle and Diamond. Appreciate the differences between the shapes with respect to the number of sides and angles they contain.
